A mid 19th century American coin silver four piece tea set, all pieces decorated with a band of grapes and grape leaves, the teapot lid and sugar bowl lid decorated with an unusual intaglio design of four pairs of oyster shells with bud finial, teapot 11 inches high, sugar bowl with lid 9 3/4", creamer 8", and waste bowl 6 1/4" high, unmonogrammed with no indication of a removal, all but the sugar bowl lid marked "STANDARD" and "R & W. WILSON" or as on the creamer "R&WW, Robert and William Wilson, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 1825 -1846, in very good antique condition without dents, breaks or repairs, the teapot handle firmly set and hinge in good working condition, the details crisp, a bit heavier than most at 109.83 troy ounces.
