FRANK WHITING STERLING TEA SET c1920 HAND DECORATED - NO MONO A fine, hand decorated Frank Whiting sterling tea kettle on matching stand, with the original hallmarked burner. Founded in 1878 in North Attelboro, Massachusetts. Acquired by Ellmore in 1940. Tapering urn form with hand carved cascading leaf and floral streams and flower accented panel. Shoulder with star burst medallion united by streaming garland, atop slender inset panel. Bell cover with the original hexagonal urn and globe finial. Twin rolled vine cap swing handle. The matching hallmarked stand with center support for the butterfly door burner. Stand with conforming star burst medallion, garland and panel decoration to lower section. The set is 13 1/2 inches tall and weighs 51 standard ounces. Kettle interior clean as if never used. Rich sterling patina throughout, retains original detail.
