Lehman Brothers Silverplate on Copper Vintage Tea and Coffee Set with W&S Blackinton Georgian Shell tray. Lehman Brothers beautiful tea service with four pieces from approximately 1930. All are heavy in weight. Coffee and tea pots are 10" tall, pots are 5 ½" in diameter, bases are 4 1/4 in diameter. One pot is wider at neck than the other.
Both have hinged lids, delicately curved handles and spouts. Creamer is 4 ½" to tip of spout and 3 ½" in diameter.
Sugar bowl has a separate lid with two handles and is 6" tall with lid, sugar bowl is 4" in diameter. All have silversmith marks on the bottom. The tray is marked by W&S Blankinton with Georgian Shell 839 under the mark.
Tray is footed and measures 29" from handle to handle, tray is 22 ½" long and 18 wide. Although from different silversmiths, this serving set works wonderfully with this tray and has been displayed this way for many years.
This set has a more contemporary look to blend in with today's styles. All come with anti-tarnish bags that slow the tarnish process between cleanings but do not completely eliminate the tarnish process.
