This listing is for a very handsome mid-20th century 6 piece tea set with serving tray included. The set features a hot water kettle on stand with its original burner, coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, covered sugar bowl, an open waste bowl and a serving tray. The pieces are silver plate over copper, and feature scrolling legs and a beaded pattern on the flared end spouts; the covers have a fruit form finials. The tray has four small scrolling legs and ornate handles. It has a high relief scrolling border with shells and scrolling line work. The pieces are marked on verso B S C SILVER OVER COPPER REG. The kettle on stand measures 15 inches high on the stand.

The coffee pot measures 11 1/4 inches high, the tea pot measures 10 1/2 inches high, the creamer measures 5 3/4 inches high, the sugar bowl is 7 1/2 inches high, and the open waste bowl measures 5 1/4 inches high. The serving tray measures 19 3/4 by 30 1/4 inches.
