A VERY DESIRABLE LARGE VICTORIAN RENAISSANCE REVIVAL AND GREEK MYTHOLOGY SILVER PLATE FIGURAL TEA SET. We are pleased to offer this elegant and TRULY RARE Renaissance Revival Large Silver Plate (silverplate) Figural Tea Set from our 40 year collection. This is the Best of the Best patterns! The pattern number is #2576 which was patented in 1871.

Wow just an amazing 150 year old Tea Set in such wonderful used condition. Elaborate Renaissance Revival designed is the grandest of the aesthetic movement design with artistic outdoor scenes with raised images of birds in flight and incised sprigs of flowers.

The set has a well crafted Greek Mythology elements such as the Satyr Heads on each of the legs. The Sugar/Spooner comes with double handles, and each handle has beautiful Renaissance Revival Ladies' head. The Tea Pot and Creamer come with a single handle, and each of the handle is adorned with beautiful raised leaf decoration which offers a better grip. The Tea Pot Finial has two small beast heads, please see photos.

The set consists of a Large Tea Pot, Creamer, and an Uncovered Sugar that can be used as Spooner. The design and style are amazing, and it is unquestionably one of the more desirable design. The Tea Pot measures nearly 11 Tall. Beside the normal wear due to age and use, the pre-owned set is in a well maintained and used condition.

The Set has very good and shiny silver plate coverage. Their is minor silver plate loss on the handle due to the cover hitting the handle, when opened. It is very clean with some minor surface use marks, scratches, ding and minor silver plate wear. The set was lovingly used with some wear inside. It displays beautifully for a used 150 year antique Tea Set.

The flaws don't detract from its aesthetic beauty and appeal. We have proudly displayed the set in our Victorian Parlor for many years, and we've received many compliments. Don't miss this opportunity to own this elegant and desirable Renaissance Revival set.
