This listing is for a Victorian silver plate tea set consisting of a teapot, coffee pot, cream pitcher and uncovered sugar. The set was manufactured by Wilcox Silver Company.
The base is also marked quadruple plate with was discontinued in 1913 by all manufacturers of silver plate. The tea set features an ornate repousse floral and leaf design and ornate rim and base. The covers feature a high relief ornate flower and leaf repousse design.The set has been re-silvered at some point. Condition: The tea set is lovely, clean and usable on the interior and no monograms or visible repairs. The silver plate is in good condition as shown.
Size: The coffee pot measures 9.5 inches tall by 10 inches wide, teapot measures 8.75 inches tall by 9.25 inches wide, the creamer stands 5.5 inches tall and the sugar measures 6. 75 inches wide and stands 3.75 inches wide. Our items are not returnable for issues that we have shown in the pictures or described. The silver plate is in god condition as shown. Each piece of the set is very heavy and sturdy.
