TIFFANY STERLING TEA KETTLE & STAND 1854 MADE BY MOORE A fine and rare 1854 Tiffany sterling silver presentation tea kettle on matching stand. The kettle bears the "Late Tiffany Young & Ellis" hallmarked, used only two years 1854 and 1855. Making it perhaps the most rare of Tiffany hallmarks. Period engraved 1854 presentation to Mr and Mrs Battersby from friends at Carden Abbott. The set retains the original 1854 dated hand written presentation note. The identical hallmark illustrated in Carpenter page 214.

This 1854 Tiffany sterling presentation kettle on. Stand is 13 inches tall and the complete set weighs 56 standard ounces. Tea kettle interior clean as if little, if ever used.
