Sterling Silver Bachelor Three Piece Tea Set - George I Style - Vintage 1988. This fine vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver bachelor three piece tea set / service consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl.

The pieces of this vintage tea set have a plain rounded bullet shaped form onto a spreading circular base and plain collet foot in the George I style. The surface of each item is plain and unembellished.

The sugar bowl is ornamented with a plain applied moulded rim. The teapot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover surmounted by carved stained wood and sterling silver bun style finial. This teapot has a plain C scroll carved stained wood handle with a scroll style thumbpiece and sterling silver sockets. The cream jug is fitted with a sterling silver opposing scroll handle with a scrolling lower terminal. This vintage tea set is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the each piece and part hallmarks to the cover of the teapot are all very clear.
