STERLING SILVER BACHELOR TEA SET Chas. Green & Co, Birmingham, 1919
A very good early twentieth century sterling silver Bachelor Tea Set. The Set comprises:- Teapot, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug. The Teapot measures 9 or 22.5cm from handle to spout. It is 5 or 12.5cm tall. The Sugar Bowl is 5 1/2 or 14cm across the handles.
The Set weighs 592 grams or approx. The Teapot has a black ebonised handle and finial. The Sugar Bowl has twin handles. All pieces are hallmarked for Birmingham, 1919. Maker's mark of Charles Green & Co.
The Teaset is in good and clean condition. The Teapot has one dent (see photo) and some surface bruising to one side. The Teapot handle is firm.
