SILVER TEA SET c1865 IRVINE FAMILY MOTTO. A fine Shreve & Stanwood Irvine family silver tea service.
The Boston shop listed only 9 years 1860- 1869. Raised globular beaded rim with center coat arms one side. Cover with original melon fluted globe crown finials. Atop cast satin surface acanthus cap.Lion paw and claw feet. This c1865 silver Irvine family lion foot teapot.
Is 10 inches and the set 64 1/2 standard ounces. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout.
