SCOTTISH STERLING TEA URN 1813 - 163 OUNCES This is a monumental 1813 Scottish sterling silver shell & scroll, acanthus handle lion paw and claw base tea urn. From the Edinburgh shop of John Zeigler, working 1795 - 1835. Hallmarked as shown in several places. Will post much clearer hallmark to interior lip of cover. This monumental 1813 Scottish shell & scroll lion paw base tea urn is 16 1/2 inches.

Tall and 14 inches wide at handles weighs 163 standard ounces. Interior clean as if little / never used.

Original spout finial, original hallmarked interior heating element. And out burner, these almost never found. Two tiny nicks edge of base.
