SAMUEL KIRK SILVER TEA SET c1840 HAND DECORATED - WEIGHS 98 OZ. We are very pleased to offer this early, c1840 Samuel Kirk silver (917 pure) three piece tea or coffee service. Bearing period engraved family crest of a bearded? In classic slender pear shape with hand raised and chased scrolling leaf and floral and strawberry on satin background surface.
Cover retains the original satin chased leaf and flower bud finial secured by the original fastener below. Satin chased leaf cap spout.
Rolled leaf crown double scroll handle with hand decorated floral stream. Atop thick, stepped ruffled leaf edge base. This hand crafted, c1840 Samuel Kirk tea or coffee pot is 13 inches tall and. By itself weighs 58 standard ounces. The complete set weighs 98 standard ounces.
