Reed & Barton Art Deco Silverplate EPNS Coffee Tea Set Monogram "S". Art Deco style coffee and tea pots by Reed & Baron. This set belonged to my grandmother. Signed: Reed & Barton EPNS. Teapot base has been resoldered.

Teapot is missing rod on hinge, so lid is loose. Teapot also has nick on top of handle. Coffee pot has a knick and wear on handle. Its products include sterling silver and silverplate flatware.

The company produced many varieties of britannia and silver products since Henry G. Barton took over the failing works of Isaac Babbitt in Taunton. During the American Civil War, Reed & Barton produced a considerable quantity of weapons for Union Army soldiers and officers.
