Rare Antique English Silver Plated Tea Set. A fabulous and rare antique english novelty tea set. Made by Norton & White in Birmingham, circa 1895. Consisting of a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug. All three pieces in the form of birds with engraved feathers and glass eyes.

The jug stamped to underside with maker's mark for Norton & White as well as registered design number and model number. The bowl with just the registered design number.

The design was first registered in 1895. A beautiful and very unusual tea set. In good antique condition with expected wear. Minor dings, scratches and surface wear throughout. Interior of pot is stained through use.
