The House of Oriel was founded in Manhattan by Philip Oriel in 1906, for the sole purpose of creating hand wrought silver re-creations of antique designs. These were often commissioned works for private clients. In some cases a tea service would be crafted to match a piece of furniture or furnishings in a specific room. The set has never been monogrammed.
This rare Philip Oriel hand wrought sterling Georgian teapot is 10 inches handle. To spout and 8 1/2 tall and the complete set weighs 52 standard ounces. Teapot interior clean as if little used.
