Monumental Chinese Export Silver Wang Hing Tea Set Teapot Associated Tray 4617g

  

An excellent, very large 5 piece set with hallmarks for Wang Hing, Hong Kong. Consists of a handled tray, teapot, coffee pot, sugar and creamer. The tray though made by Wang Hing, isnt an exact match to the other 4 pieces. Same era and chrysanthemum decoration. These are great quality and heavy weight.

A combined weight of 4617 grams or over 10 pounds, almost 146 troy ounces. Fresh to the market from a local estate. The tray with chrysanthemum outer and inner border. 24 3/4 inches wide with handles.

Hallmarked "WH", "90" and Chop mark. Good condition with some scratches to the surface. Not an exact match to the remaining 4 pieces I dont believe. Large coffee pot with 4 claw dragon on one side, chrysanthemum on the other side. Coiled serpent style dragon finial.

Stands about 9 inches tallest with finial. 9 1/2 inches widest spout, to handle. Marked "WH, 90" and with chop mark.

Good overall condition with minor scratches. Note the finial does not have a spacer like the teapot does. I believe it is missing.

Teapot with 4 claw dragon on one side, chrysanthemum on the other side. Stands about 5 inches tall with finial. 9 1/2 inches widest, spout to handle.

A minor dent or so, not bad for 100 + years old. This finial has the spacer the coffee pot is missing.

The cream and sugar both with the dragon and chrysanthemum sides. Creamer is 3 1/4 inch tall X 5 3/4 inch widest. The sugar 3 1/2 inch tallest X 6 1/4 inch widest at handles. Both with all 3 hallmarks.
