LOVELY SOLID SILVER HALLMARKED 3 PIECE TEA SET ADIE BROS. 1932 1067.5g

Please examine the pictures to appreciate this set. I have positioned a standard AAA size battery as a guide to the size of the set. Good quality solid silver English hallmarked three piece tea set dating to the 1930's, made of substantial gau ge by the renowned Adie Brothers Ltd. Each piece bears the'ABROS' makers mark, the anchor for Birmingham, lion denoting sterling silver; and the date letter'H' for 1932. TEAPOT - Weighs 663.1g (including wooden handle/finial).

I have tried to show in the pictures, that the spout is a miss hapen at the end, with a tiny split. One of the securing pins on the handle is protruding a little making the handle feel slightly loose. It simply needs to be pushed through to make it secure. The hinge is nice and tight, lid fits perfectly. SUGAR BOWL - Weighs 236.7g.

No issues, just the usual surface scratches. CREAMER - Weighs 167.7g. Again no issues other than expected.

Total weight of the set is 1067.5g This is a very handsome set with only minor issues. Would grace any dining table. I have lots of interesting silver listed in my shop; please pay a visit.
