Crafted in the archaic manner inspired by 17th & 18th century designs. Hallmarked Japanese characters "pure silver".

Which is at least 950 pure, higher than sterling. This Japanese sterling (950 pure) hand crafted cream jug 6 inches & matching. Covered sugar bowl 5 inches and set weighs about 18 standard ounces.
