GORHAM STERLING TEA SET 1917 - HAND DECORATED- 72 OUNCES. A very large and fine 1917 Gorham sterling silver hand decorated tea kettle on matching stand. With the original hallmarked burner. Classic inverted pear fluted panel shape, with scrolling floral overhand rim. Center shell, leaf and vine framed shield united by floral displays in exceptionally high relief from surface. Cover retains the original leaf and vine decorated "Hershey kiss" finial. Feathered leaf crown floral mount spout overhead swing handle. Twin shell and leaf support arm stand. Wavy edge base comprised of twin level of raised floral, leaf and vine. Hand engraved script C for the original owner, to one side only. This 1917 Gorham sterling kettle on stand is over 13 inches. And complete set weighs over 72 standard ounces.
