GORHAM STERLING TEA KETTLE & STAND 1907 - HAND DECORATED. A very fine 1908 Gorham sterling silver shell & floral tea kettle on matching stand, in the Art Nouveau manner.

In raised oval shape with overflow streaming vine rim. Center inverted shell, leaf and floral framed oval shield. Framed within suspended leaf and twin vine and flower head.

Cover retains the original, uniquely cast oval pedestal and pierced twin vine finial. Sweeping vine scroll framed overhead swing handle. Matching leaf crown shell and scroll, inverted shell center support arm stand. The base with hand decorated leaf and floral.

The stand itself atop angled, wavy leaf feet united by sweeping, feathered vine scroll. This 1907 hand decorated Gorham sterling tea kettle on stand. Is 13 inches tall and the set 52 1/2 standard ounces. Interior clean as if never used.
