French Art Deco Modernist Coffee/Tea Set Silver plate -Quality Heavy /Signed

  

Eye catching silver plate French Art Deco Coffee/tea set -comprising of coffee pot, lidded creamer/milk and sugar bowl. Modernist styling of bullet shape pieces- each sitting on three spherical feet. This is heavy (1.9 kilos) it is clearly of quality and has stamp marks on the base of each piece which are sadly indecipherable- mainly because there is wear to them, commensurate with age.

The lid on the coffee pot and the Milk Jug are both hinged. Each strong and close firmly. The styling is totally eye-catching, such strong statement pieces and totally epitomises the modernist movement of the time. Milk Pot Height 5/12.5cms. Sugar bowl Height 3.5/9cms.

Condition- Good condition- These pieces are silver plated and it has to be said, over the years they have lost some of the plate- creating a light golden/silver hue - which we have taken into account when pricing- there is a tiny'ding' on one side of the coffee tea pot - barely visible but mentioned for total transparency- not other knocks or damage.
