An elegant four-piece silverplated coffee and tea service dating from the 1930s with wide band styling on the main body of the pieces and wooden handles and lid knobs. The coffee pot has a hinged lid and measures 8 ½ high. The tea pot also has a hinged lid and measures 7 inches high. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with very minor traces of surface use. The cream/milk jug measures 4 inches high, in very good condition with a tiny pin prick in the top edge. The sugar bowl is very large standing 4 ½ inches high - with a lid with a wooden knob and two handles. The main bowl part is shiny with a few traces of wear under the top rim and two tiny pin spots on the body. The interior of all of the pieces is perfectly clean and ready for use.

They are hallmarked PT on the bottom, for Pierre Talier who had a shop near Paris between 1911 and 1941. It is a very stylish coffee/tea service from the 1930s, in overall very good condition. Vintage and antique objects have lived and been used and because of that, they sometimes show it.

The condition of the object is described as accurately as possible, including its character flaws. But that is really part of the attraction and enjoyment of an old piece.
