Just picked up a rare circa 1890 Chinese export silver. 900 dragon tea set by Wang Hing. Each piece has a raised Chinese dragon and bamboo motif with bamboo form spout and handles and finials. A 4 toed dragon is wrapped around each of the pieces and it is not monogrammed. The teapot is 5.5" tall and 10" long the sugar bowl with lid is 3.75" tall x 6.5" wide to each handle, and the creamer is 3.25" tall x 5 1/8" from handle to spout. The set weighs 1040 grams or 2 lbs 5 oz. Are hallmarked on the bottom of each piece as shown.
Excellent antique condition with minor wear, the insulated handle on the teapot moves slightly, and I polished it earlier as it was pretty black and still could use a proper polish. The creamer and sugar appear to have a gold interior wash, not the teapot.Really nice and getting harder to find. Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact.
