ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET 1950 QUEEN ANNE A fine, mid-century British sterling silver tea kettle on matching stand, retaining the original hallmarked burner and chained securing pins. From the well regarded London shop of Peter Guille in 1950. Guille was noted for his superb re-creation of antique forms. Vice president Chrichton Ltd later forming Guille and Associates. Examples of his work in major collection including several dozen examples in the Clarke Art Institute collection. This mid-century hand crafted British sterling Queen Anne tea kettle on matching. Stand is 13 inches tall and the complete set weighs 52 standard ounces.
