ENGLISH STERLING TEA URN 1800 - LIONS - 108 OUNCES This is a monumental George III sterling silver lion & drop ring handle tea urn. The firm mostly produced buckles, until later making a limited number of tea sets.

The lion handle tea urn offered today would have been one of their most noteworthy creations. Extensively hallmarked as shown, all hallmarks match perfectly.

This monumental 220 year old, British sterling lion paw tea urn is 17 1/2 inches. Tall and weighs a touch over 108 standard ounces. Never monogrammed, rare for a Georgian tea urn. Interior clean as if little used. Original spout finial, original hallmarked burner.
