Hallmarked ornate and beautifully chased, with much if not all hand work, in construction and decoration, English sterling with matching tray six piece tea set with date mark 1936 Sheffield made by Mappin & Webb London & Sheffield England.

Each piece of the set is hallmarked and has the lion passant of English sterling silver. Consisting of tray 158.66 toz. Coffee/chocolate pot 28.1 toz. 2nd coffee/chocolate pot 29.31 toz.

8.5"X8.5" hot water/tea pot 38.11 toz. 6.75"X5.5" approx. Creamer 15.25 toz5.5"X5.5" approx.. Total without tray 129.02 troy oz. Total with tray 297.69 toz.

Tray 29.5"X19" approximately. The three pots have what appears to be fruitwood handles that are stained a dark beige color.

Condition is excellent all pieces have no repairs, no bumps or dents other than surface or use marks. Only the sugar piece has a slight dent that I repaired and is not noticeable only from the inside. The patina is excellent and with all top quality English sterling has a special luster prevalent in top quality 92.5 sterling silver. See all photos which are part of the description.
