From the renowned Barnard family, the firm dating back to Edward Barnard, 1829. This is a superb re-creation of a c1825 design from Paul Storr, illustrated page 295 in Waldron. Raised dagger crest and motto for the Charteris family. This nearly 120 year old British sterling classical tea kettle on stand.
Is 12 1/2 inches tall and the complete set weighs a touch under 64 standard ounces. Appears little, if ever used. One of the securing pins & chain lost.
