ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET 1879 EGYPTIAN - NO MONO A beautifully designed and completely hand decorated British sterling silver tea service in the highly sought after Egyptian manner. From the Sheffield work shop of Roberts & Belk in 1879.

The set displays beautifully hand decorated classical scenes depicting warriors, musicians in parade, mother and child and attendants serving seated master wine and music. Retains the original, hallmarked satin chased sphinx finial. This rare 1879 British sterling Egyptian Revival teapot with the original sphinx. Finial is 9 inches handle to spout and the complete three piece. Egyptian set weighs 51 standard ounces.
