ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET 1868 BRIGHT CUT ENGRAVED - WEIGHS 52 OZ. A very fine 1868 British sterling bright cut engraved tea service. Slender oval with beaded base and rim. Center with hand engraved scroll and vine.

With raised bead framed shield. Series of bright cut leaf and wave borders above and below also. Accented with repeating bead work. Cover with the original mushroom fluted finial, original fastener below.

Cream jug with rolled edge "shell" form spout. Gothic K for the original owner. This British hand decorated sterling teapot is 11 inches. And the set weighs 52 standard ounces. The interior of the teapot clean as if little used.

Heat stops replaced, some roughness. That area & retains original finial. With material from endangered species.
