ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET 1891 MARTIN & HALL GOLD WASH. A fine 1891 British sterling hand decorated (partial) tea set. Tapering form with slender panel fluted base and center band. Wispy leaf and fern hand decorated including under cream jug spout. Acanthus crown slender panel handles, rising from larger acanthus below. This 1891 hand decorated British sugar is 6 inches across handles. Cream jug 4 1/2 and set 10 1/2 standard ounces. Interior retains original gold wash.
