ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET 1845 William Hunter - No Monogram. A fine early Victorian sterling silver tea service. From William Hunter, first listed 1840. Tapering urn with scrolling heart medallion and petal fluting. Cover retains the original mushroom fluted sterling crown finial.

Leaf crown paneled S scroll handle. Atop leaf framed anthemion center scroll tip feet. This 1845 teapot is 11 inches and. The set weighs 47 standard ounces.

In fine condition, unusually rich sterling patina. Handle secure, original stops and finial. Lower teapot with two tiny shallow dings.
