A charming Edwardian solid silver Bachelor Tea Set. Comprises Teapot, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug. The Teapot measures 8 1/2 or 21.5cm from handle to spout and stands 4 1/42 or 1.5cm tall. The Set weighs 531 grams or just over 17 ozt. All pieces have an hexagonal form with out-turned rims. The teapot has an ebonised angular handle. The hinged Lid is domed and has an oval finial. The Sugar bowl has twin angular handles and the Milk Jug has a broad lip. All pieces hallmarked for Chester, 1902. Maker's mark of William Neale. Free from any bump or bruise apart from one small ding below the rim of the Sugar bowl. The Teapot handle is firm and the pins are in place. The hinge is good and the Lid closes flat.
