Chinese Export Silver Tea Set FLOWERING PRUNUS & HAMMERED SIGNED
CHINESE EXPORT SILVER TEA SET SIGNED 35 OUNCES. A very unique Chinese export silver flowering prunus and hand hammered. Gently tapering square form with all over hand hammering. A flowering prunus tree frames and beautifully hand carved. Scene of exotic birds in lush garden.
Each piece with different scene, illustrating the hand crafting of the set. Teapot with side mount three branch bamboo handle, with beaded frame terminal. Retains the original raised pumpkin finial.
The Chinese export silver flowering prunus. Hammered teapot is 6 1/2 inches and set 35 1/2 standard ounces. Signed Chinese characters also later. Italian, we believe import marks.
