SUPERB 4-PIECE ART DECO TEA SERVICE. Early 20th-century (1939) Sheffield made solid sterling silver four piece tea service. They are in quintessentially Art Deco shapes, each raised on a spreading pedestal foot. The handles and finials have subtle and matching Art Deco details. They are all fully hallmarked, with matching maker and date letter stamps.
They are free from inscriptions or monograms. The teapot has a capacity of approximately 2 Imperial pints/2.5 US pints/1150ml. A superb and quality set, genuine Art Deco 79 year old sterling silver tea service.

Height 8.5m (3 3/8). Milk jug: Length handle to spout 14.8cm (5 3/4). WEIGHT: 1725g / 55.3 troy oz combined. CONDITION: Good condition with general wear and tarnish commensurate with age. Tea stain inside the teapot. Interior of coffee pot in clean condition. Wooden handles slightly worn but tight and firm.
