Anton Michelsen Danish Sterling Silver Mid-Century Modern Tea & Coffee Pot Set with Wood Handle and Finials. Presented is a wonderful Art-Deco Mid-century Modern Coffee and Tea pot set marked for sterling silver made in Copenhagen Denmark by Anton Michelsen. This beautiful set has hinged lids with wood handles and finials on both pots and no monograms.

They are in lovely condition with only possible flea-bite dings and some fine scratches from gentle use and care in the high finish. It is an excellent set for the collector of Mid-century Modern Art-Deco and a great piece for decoration and use. I have an interesting assortment of items listed so please look at my other auctions. Tea Pot 5 3/8 inches high, 5 ¾ inches wide , 8 ¾ inches from handle to spout. Coffee Pot 8 ¼ inches x 4 5/8" inches wide, 7 " inches from handle to spout.

Weight : Tea Pot 23.7 ounces on my postal scale or 673 grams. Coffee Pot 26.3 ounces on my postal scale or 745 grams. Michelsen hallmark, Circled R, G9, SS in Box, M, 1,2L, Sterling Denmark on both lid and bottom of Teapot. 9, Circled R, C, Sterling Denmark, SS in Box, A. Michelsen hallmark, 1,2L on both lid and bottom on coffeepot. Condition : some fleabite nick dings, no monogram, some fine scratches from gentle use and care. This is my hobby and I do it for fun and a little spare cash.
