Antique/Vintage 1941 Gorham Sterling Silver Large Tea Set Tray Serving Platter. Presented is an antique or vintage, solid sterling silver tea tray or large serving platter made by Gorham in 1941. This piece could easily hold a 6 piece tea set with a kettle on stand. The handles are very large and the whole piece has a classic, gadrooned rim. The tray has never been monogrammed. This is a very fine quality piece. The underside is marked for Gorham, sterling silver purity and has a date letter for the year 1941. This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, but the piece could easily be buffed to a very high finish. The total area of the tray is 17 1/4 by 29 1/2 inches.
