Magnificent Six-Piece Silver-plated Coffee and Tea Service from Reed and Barton. Genuinely one of the only complete sets on the Internet. Graceful, elegant Aesthetic Antique, and exceptional craftsmanship in set comprising tea pot, coffee pot, hot water pot, lid-covered sugar, creamer, and waste bowl. Dates to the 19th Century Aesthetic Movement where influence was arriving from the west and the 3D animal detail began, such as the lions head feet. Marks: Pattern Number and Maker's Mark Impressed on underside The spherical bodies and all of the detailing is spectacular.

The coffee and tea pots have gorgeous elongated handles with thumb rests and two thin bands of lustrous off-white material on each handle. Atop each hinged lid is a ball-shaped orb/finial supported by three lions' legs, and each midsection is encircled by two garlands depicting bell-shaped flowers/foliate and geometric designs.

Each also has four feet showcasing detailed figural lion masks, paws and claws. The spigots on the two pots and creamer are equally detailed and lovely. The creamer and sugar bowl have similarly elegant handles and the sugar bowl has a detached lid.

They, and the waste bowl, all rest on four figural lions' heads and legs. The underside of each of the five pieces is marked. Aesthetic Antique Condition: Pre-Owned Good Coffee pot has 2 shallow dents on lower half of bowl. Each piece has a tarnish of between 10-30 percent of surface area. All pieces are balanced, all lids with hinges are complete. Interior of each piece is clean, no staining.
