Absolutely gorgeous antique French Belle Epoque era sterling silver 4pc coffee & tea set, a comprehensive service including the taller coffee or hot water pot, tea pot, covered sugar bowl or caddy and creamer, all with an elegant French Empire or Classical Louis XV styling with laurel garland in deep bas relief, acanthus accented spouts & handles, bow & ribbon accents and wonderful condition! Aren't these simply fabulous! A complete 4pc set and as beautifully French as can be with a subtle, elegant French Empire style and all beautifully preserved. Thick & heavy old French sterling silver, too, made to last and as ornate as one could hope for.

The four pieces have a total weight of 66.5 troy ounces or 2069 grams. The French Minerve or Minerva hallmark on all separate parts lids, bodies, etc. , the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're all in. 950 silver 95% pure and higher than the. 925 standard for "sterling" silver.

A simply marvelous set, rare to find a complete 4pc service with such a timeless and elegant pattern or style! There are a few small dimples but no large dents to report. The handles are all sterling silver, somewhat rare and original, and there is a chip to the top heat dampening spacer on the tea pot's handle.

One leg of the creamer is a bit bent but the piece stands straight and stead with no wobbling. There is also a bit of pinkish silver polish residue visible in the pictures, caught in the recesses of the decoration but we'll have our polisher to over them again to get that out before mailing.
