Each piece bears the mark of Jean Devaux, active 1838, and the guarantee for. This set is exquisite in decoration, rare in age and in very good to excellent condition. The flatware housed in the original boulle decorated ebony box, with monogram on the box only. Nicest set of this sort I've found.
