Antique ENGLISH STERLING Miniature TEA SET withKETTLE -CS & FS, 1905-06

  
For sale is a nice vintage English sterling silver four piece miniature tea and coffee set by Saunders & Shepherd, Birmingham, 1905-06. There is a tilting water kettle on stand, a teapot, an open sugar bowl and a cream pitcher. The kettle on stand is 2 ¼ inches tall by 1 5/8 inches wide, and the other pieces are proportional.

The set weighs 36 grams. The kettle and teapot have hinged lids and functional spouts.

It has not been monogrammed. All of the pieces except the stand are marked with a [CSFS] maker's mark and Birmingham hallmarks for 1905-06, as well as an "L", "T" or "Y". The kettle stand has partial hallmarks. Condition on the set is fairly good.

There are some minor dents and normal signs of play. A nice miniature tea set.
