Antique English Art Deco Silver Plated 3 Piece Tea Set, c1935. Antique English Art Deco silver plated three piece tea set. The set consists of a tea pot, a cream jug & a sugar bowl. Each piece is of plain tapering rectangular form with fluted decoration on the corners & raised on stepped pedestal base.

The geometric shape of each piece is typical of the Art Deco period. The teapot has a black Bakelite lifting handle on one side, a swan neck pouring spout on the other side. There is a black Bakelite finial on the hinged lid on the top. The sugar bowl has a harp shaped lifting handle on each side & the cream jug has a matching handle & pouring spout. A very nice clean example, lovely fully usable collectors item.

Teapot: - 292 mm x 120mm x 150mm. Excellent condition with light surface marks that are consistent with genuine age, use & polishing.
