STERLING SILVER TEA/COFFEE SERVICE AND TRAY, C. STERLING SILVER TEA/COFFEE SERVICE WITH TRAY, C. Presented is a fine and one of a kind sterling silver six piece tea and coffee service created by Tiffany & Co. The service comprises a kettle on stand, a teapot, a coffee pot, a hot milk jug, a covered sugar bowl and a large tray.

Each partly fluted urn form, the shoulders with bright-cut engraved foliate band, the sugar bowl with gilt interior. The handles issuing from lion's masks. Kettle on stand with two lion mask with drop ring handles on the supports, with square lion paw feet. The handle with two lion heads issuing. The order number of the "kettle on stand" is different from the other five items indicating that it was the first to be acquired by the original owner. The order numbers on the teapot, coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, hot milk jig and the tray are the same indicating that they were acquired from Tiffany & Co. However, given that the original pattern did not come with a hot milk jug and tray, and the purchaser wanted a complete set to complement the kettle on stand already in the house, the hot milk jug and the tray were specially ordered for this service. Hence, the order number on the two special order items are the same as the teapot, the sugar bowl, and hot coffee pot while, their pattern numbers are different. Coffee Pot 8898 MAKERS 6926.

Covered Bowl 8898 MAKERS 6926. Hot Milk Jug 10033 MAKERS 6926. All in good condition save the expected age-wear, wear to wood elements, the nut to the finial of the jug is missing, the burner not marked, the tray with lines to the field. Height of kettle: 14", Length of tray over handles: 31".
