A stunning antique solid sterling silver Victorian batchelor's three piece tea set which consists of a tea pot, twin handled sugar bowl and a cream jug. All three pieces are clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, date letter e for 1897 makers initials are JD over WD, James Deakin & Sons John & William F.

Beautiful half fluted detail with gadroon rims. Each item has been engraved, please see photos for a better idea. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS AS THEY FORM PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Over 120 years old and they are in excellent condition with no dents or dings. Tea pot measures approx 22.7 cm in length from handle to spout, stands 12 cm in height and weighs approx 421.4 grams.

Twin handled sugar bowl measures approx 14.2 cm in length from handle to handle, stands 6.9 cm in height and weighs approx 136.4 grams.
