A four (4) piece silver-plate, fluted design, COFFEE, TEA, SUGAR BOWL, CREAMER SET. Coffee Pot marked Sheffield, so likely from England. These belonged to my parents, so definitely over 65 years old but likely much older.
Vintage but could be antique - please do your own research. The Coffee Pot has a black handle that shows wear and/or discoloring. The black finial at the top of the pot seems to be the same material as the handle.
The Coffee Pot is about 8 tall from base to top of finial. It is about 9 1/2 long from handle to pouring tip.
Coffee Pot appears used inside. I have not cleaned inside. I gave the Coffee Pot a light polish. The Coffee Pot is marked on the bottom: SILVER PLATE - ON COPPER - SHEFFIELD. There also appears to be some numbers scratched on to the bottom. The Tea Pot has a black handle that shows wear and/or discoloring. The black finial at the top of the pot appears to be the same material. The Tea Pot is about 12 long from handle tip to pouring tip. I have not cleaned inside the tea pot.
You may want to clean and/or polish inside. The Tea Pot is marked on the bottom E P N S in Old English lettering style - each letter in its own box - this stands for electroplated nickel silver. Some numbers also appear to scratched on the bottom. I gave the tea pot a light polishing. Sugar Bowl is 7 1/4" long from end of handle to end of handle - interior bowl itself is about 3" x 4. Bowl is marked on the bottom E P N S - same as the tea pot - and some numbers appear to be scratched on it. I gave the sugar bowl a light polishing. Creamer is marked on the bottom E P N S - same as the tea pot and sugar bowl. There also appears to be some scratched numbers on the bottom. I gave the creamer a light polish. All the items are in used condition. Expect scratches and marks due to age and use. Interior of coffee pot and tea pot have not been cleaned or polished - both show use. Black handles show wear and/or discoloring.
