This set features a fluted/paneled body sitting on a low pedestal oval stepped base. The creamer and sugar have a narrow rolled rim with a slightly wavy shape and wide handles with flat tops. The teapot has a hinged lid with a slight dome shape with an ebony wood finial and matching ebony wood handle with flat top that matches the style of the handle on the sugar and creamer. Each piece bears the English hallmarks for Birmingham, Sterling, date letter for 1919 and has unidentified maker's stamp with initials "H C".Tea Pot - measures 8" high (at handle), 6 1/2" high (at spout), 11 1/2" wide (spout to handle) and 5 1/2" deep. Creamer - measures 5 1/8" high (at handle), 5 1/4" wide (spout to handle) and 2 7/8 deep. Sugar - measures 4 3/4" high (at handles), 8 3/4" wide (handle to handle) and 4 1/8 deep. The c ombined weight is over 770 grams. The sugar and creamer to this nice tea set are in excellent excellent Estate condition reflecting minimal signs of wear.
The body of the teapot is also in excellent condition, however, there is a bend at one rounded end of the oval base (see photos). The pot stands evenly and the damage to the base doesn't affect the use of this nice set.
