1800s Antique Guilloche CHRISTOFLE SET Silver Pieces Tea Pot etc. This listing is for a matching partial SET OF 3 antique and authentic Christofle silver hollowware pieces. This set was made in the 1880s/1890s.

This can be verified with the stamped Christofle maker's marks on the bottom of each piece, which sports the branding design used between 1862 and 1935. This set was made and crafted by hand in Haute Orfevrerie workshops in France.

These are intricate pieces with a very detailed "guilloche" texture. All three match this pattern. Christofle silver is highly valuable.

Generally speaking, the more intricate the design, the more valuable the piece. As such, these pieces are worth quite a bit. These pieces were originally part of a matching set of 6 (serving tray, samovar, coffee pot, tea pot, milk jar, and sugar pot). These pieces have "LBM" capital cursive letters on the front of them. I believe this was done as a custom engraving of sorts.

Below are the pieces included along with their conditions. Condition: No major damage besides general wear with age and tarnish. Has surface scratches throughout the piece.

Numbers marked on the bottom: "5" (amount of silver in grams used for production) / 1417710. SUGAR POT with independent removable lid. Numbers marked on the bottom: "16".

Condition: There are a number of dents in the sides of this piece. I've tried to picture them. Other than these dents, there is no major damage besides general wear with age and tarnish.

Numbers marked on the bottom: "24" (amount of silver in grams used for production) / 1417707. These pieces have been recently shined to remove tarnish (I've also provided a picture of how they looked when I first received them, tarnish and all, at image #24). After cleaning, they appear to possibly have had some golden-colored accents as part of their original color. Individual piece conditions are listed above. I have considered getting these appraised.
