A five piece sterling silver tea set by John Wendt of Philadelphia in the Apollo pattern composed of a teapot 7 1/2 tall, hot water or coffee pot 9 1/2" tall, covered sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl 5 1/2" across the handles. All pieces have a cherub in the cartouche surrounded by engraving and applied dots on one side and a monogram on the other side. The set was retailed by J E Caldwell of Philadelphia and marked with style number 466.

Total weight 95.20 troy oz. Good condition with no dents. This tea set matches the Wendt Apollo pattern flatware.
