Maciel Sterling Silver 8 piece Tea Service Set. Maciel manufactured high quality silver hollow-ware and a limited line of flat-ware from 1930 until 1970. The set features 8 pieces, which includes 1 serving tray, 3 different sized tea servers, 1 burner/holder for the medium sized tea server, 1 creamer, 1 sugar holder, 1 waste bowl. 8 piece set is made of. 925 sterling silver, and the total weight of the set is roughly 269.3 troy ounces of.
It is quite rare to have as many pieces to a silver tea service set as this one contains. As you can see from the pictures, the set is quite old (roughly 80+ years) and shows expected wear and tear for a tea service set of this age. There are a few minor dents, scratches in some pieces, and the set itself has not been restored. The set was recently passed down to me. No restoration has been or will be done to this set as I believe it would decrease the value in some buyers eyes.
8 piece sets total weight is 20 pounds, 2.4 ounces. I have included a picture of the entire set on the serving tray (placed on top of a 2.9oz Patron Tequila box to elevate it to show scale reading).
