Tetard Freres Sterling Silver Art Deco Tea Set 4pc Paris France c. 1925
Wonderful 4-piece Art Deco Sterling Silver Tea Set by Master French Silversmiths Tetard Freres. Quality, heavy construction with hardwood handles and finials. Coffee pot stands 6 1/2" and weighs 790 grams, Tea pot stands 5 1/4" and weighs 783 grams, Covered Sugar stands 4" and weighs 544 grams and Creamer stands 3" and weighs 228 grams. All items are in excellent original condition and are marked in multiple places with French Minerva marks for. 950 silver and makers mark. The coffee pot has a small dimple which I have tried to show in the last photo. Lids and hinges are firm and snug, along with handles. True art deco tea set from the birthplace of the movement, and by one of the finest silversmiths to produce art deco silver. You will not be disappointed!
