STERLING TEA SET c1920 HAND DECORATED A beautifully hand decorated, Shreve & Co. San Francisco, sterling silver four piece tea service. In slender baluster form with, hand chased satin surface leaf and floral framed in vine scroll, itself within bat's wing fluting. Flower head and vine satin accent below petal gadroon overhang rim. Cover retains the original bell and swirl, fluted finial above petal fluted surround. Rippling shell cap leaf and vine mount spout, with shell center, and oval drop. Rippling leaf crown tapering S handle rising from oval mounts.

Sterling silver Georgian teapot is 9 1/2 inches handle to spout. And 8 1/2 inches tall and the complete four piece set weighs 75 1/2 standard ounces. Appears little, if ever used. Couple of barely noticed dinks.
